This robust cleaving hammer from STIHL can be used in a variety of ways: for splitting wood or for driving in wedges, such as the STIHL aluminum felling wedge, to support tree felling. The forged hammer head with reversible head and extra large striking surface make these cleaving hammers versatile tools.

With the 90 cm long and 3,300 g STIHL AX 33 CS cleaving hammer with a robust hickory handle, you can effectively carry out medium to heavy-duty splitting work, such as splitting meter logs and heavy wood, as well as felling with a wedge, both domestically and as a professional. The corresponding impact protection sleeve and safety plate ensure additional safety when working.

Note: For your safety, do not use a cleaving hammer to drive in steel-splitting wedges. Steel must never be used to hammer onto steel.
